BREAST IMPLANT

BREAST IMPLANT

What is Breast Implant?

A breast implant is a medical prosthesis that is placed inside the breast to augment, reconstruct, or create the physical form of the breast. It is basically done to:

1. Enlarge breasts that are naturally small. Restore breast size and shape after pregnancy, weight loss or breastfeeding.

2. Restore symmetry when the breasts are asymmetrical
Restore the breast or breasts after surgery.

How does it work?

Our surgeon will make a cut (incision) on the underside of your breast, in the natural skin fold. He will place the implant through this opening. Your scar may be a little more visible if you are younger, thin, and have not yet had children.

Is it painful?

It is done under local anesthesia, meaning you are fully awake but you will receive medicine to numb the breast area to block the pain.

How long Breast Implant last?

At Glojas Plastic Surgery Centre, our Surgeon uses Polytech Implants that are made and imported from Germany. It last permanently and can withstand high magnitude of an accident.

How long is the recovery?

Recovery will take atleast 7-14 days. You will be given medication for pain, swelling and antibiotic. We suggest you wear a recovery bra/sports bra and care for your incision sites as directed. You need to come for dressing the next day and after two weeks can remove the stitches.

How much does it cost?

It starts from USD 4000 onwards.

The Safest Breasts & Buttock Enlargement @ GLOJAS

Here at Glojas Smart International Aesthetics, our In-House Plastic Surgeon Dr.Mohd Ali performs a natural alternative for breast and butt enlargement through a fat transfer procedure. The process is via a liposuction where the fats extracted are transferred to the breasts and butts. However, for those who lack fats or are very petite or feel that they need much larger breasts, they can opt for Breast Implants. However, for the butts, it will have to be a fat transfer.

Breast Implants can achieve the desired size in comparison to a fat transfer that usually may be one cup bigger. Fat Transfer to breasts and butts can take up around 3 hours and done on local anaesthetic meaning that the patient is fully awake and aware during the procedure with no discomfort and pain. The patient gets to leave after the completion of the procedure.

Can a person who lacks fats do the procedure from a fat donor?

The answer is a complete no. There is no such thing as a fat donor as the body will reject it hence it’s not an option. Such a person has to opt for implants. Implants can be of a desired size but is also subjected to the individual’s body and space. We use the most superior quality of implants that last for a lifetime. Yes, one procedure for a lifetime! The procedure of Breast Implants can take up around 2 hours and done on local anaesthetic meaning that the patient is fully awake and aware during the procedure with no discomfort and pain. The patient gets to leave after the completion of the procedure.

Can Fat Transfers or Breast Implants cause Cancer?

The answer is an absolute no. Please also take note that our breast implants are imported from Germany and are of the most supreme quality that one procedure lasts for a lifetime. Yes, one procedure for life!

We practise a standard operating procedure for both options where customers are required to do an Ultra Sound Scan of their breasts or a mammogram before qualifying for these procedures. This is our strict requirement.

  3. As for cancer patients, they can opt for reconstructive surgery and in some cases, implants.

  5. Can Implants cause Cancer, it’s a myth and the answer is an absolute ‘No’

Quick recovery with no pain and scar

The minimal incision during the surgery causes less pain for small tissue damage and prevents scars. In addition, the clinic provides intensive scar care to make patients feel comfortable even if it is a small scar after breast surgery.

You have two options to choose from when it comes to a breast augmentation – silicone and saline. Choosing one or the other will depend entirely on your preferences. A good surgeon will explain the differences and make it easier for you to pick between the implant varieties.

Silicone implants are widespread because they offer a more natural appearance after the augmentation. They’re made of a silicone “pocket” that is filled with silicone gel. If you choose silicone implants, you should know that the size of the incision will depend on the size of the implants because they’re pre-filled before the surgery.

Saline implants are made of silicone and are filled with salt water which is known as saline solution. These implants are placed in your body empty and the surgeon fills them depending on the pre-selected size. The incision will be smaller due to the fact that implants are put empty into your body. In the case of leaks, your body is safe because the salt water liquid is similar to bodily fluids. Saline breast implants are firmer and look more unnatural in comparison to silicone. Patients are left to make their preferred choice.
