LOWER BLEPHAROPOLASTY

LOWER BLEPHAROPOLASTY / EYEBAG REMOVAL

What is Lower Blepharoplasty?

Also known as eyebag removal. Is a procedure in which skin and fats are removed to improve sagging, baggy, or wrinkles of the undereye area.

Is it painful?

It is done under local anesthesia, meaning you are fully awake but you will receive medicine to numb the area and block the pain.

How does it work?

The surgeon will make an incision around the lower eye area and remove the excess skin and fats and sewing the skin under the eye back together giving the undereye area a tighter appearance.

What causes eyebags?

1. Lack of enough sleep
2. The usual ageing process
3. Fluid Retention
4. Excessive consumption of salt
5. Stress
6. Allergic reactions

How long is the recovery?

There will be minimal bruising and swelling for atleast 7 to 14 days.

Will there be after care?

You will be given medication for swelling, pain and also additional antibiotic cream and eyedrops. We suggest you bring dark sunglasses for you to wear outside after the procedure and you will be back after a week to remove the stitches. We will follow-up closely with all your after care appointments.

How much does it cost?

It starts from USD 1000 onwards and solely depends on the issue and desired results.
